One of the most popular (and recurring) questions our publishers ask is, "How do I maximize revenue for AdSense for feeds and ensure my subscriber stats are as accurate as possible?" Some of you can recite the answers to these questions backwards and forwards (though we find typing it backwards is quite difficult, so we'll leave you to say that aloud). But for our many new publishers that are just tuning in, here's the recap.
Just setting up AdSense for feeds ad units in your AdSense account is
not enough to start seeing traffic and revenue to your feeds. It's critical that 100% of your feed traffic be directed to the feed(s) you created in AdSense for feeds or your FeedBurner account. Luckily, this is fairly easy to do via two standard methods.
- Redirect your original feed. This is the recommended option for all publishers, but especially if you have an already established blog or feed that already has subscribers. This option ensures that all traffic gets funneled to the version that has both advertising and subscriber tracking enabled. We've detailed this process in this Help Center entry.

An added bonus: a plugin for self-hosted WordPress installations and feed-specific features within Blogger and TypePad make redirection much easier on these two publishing platforms.
- Promote your feeds.feedburner.com feed. This is recommended only in the cases where you are setting up a new blog, or have an existing blog or feed that has no traffic. For example, if your feed is found at http://feeds.feedburner.com/toastforbreakfast, you would change your blog template to link only to this version of the feed. Note you have to make sure to change it not only where you promote your feed directly, but also everywhere you have feed autodiscovery links in your template. (One other place to keep in mind: BrowserFriendly.)
Hopefully, this reminder will help everyone get on firm ground with how to maximize traffic to their feed and revenue from it, too. In future posts, we will be covering how to
increase traffic and subscribers to your feed, so hang on to your hat!

In some instances, it's hard to tell when reality is for real. It may confuse you when your friends utter varying opinions on how you look. Some say you are healthy-looking which can be a subtle means of telling how you've gained pounds. Others say straightforwardly that you are getting chunkier. Upon hearing these comments, will they get you to join any weight loss program?
Feedbacks can either be understatement or overstatement. You know, most people comment to please rather than hurt feelings. To reach a decision of doing any weight loss routines would depend on whether you are beyond calorie count based on your gender, body form, height and bone structure. Alignment of your body parts can shape up your physique, and when you see there's something off like excess bulges on the waist and fatty legs and arms, then you might have to drop pounds and body mass.
In some cases, people could be psychologically thinking that they actually need to lose weight. They see themselves as bulging and buffed although they aren't. Others are even scared of taking extra bites to indulge because the mind says it's too much to feed your stomach. If you are any of these, you can either be bulimic or anorexic. Being anorexic, you experience a persistent loss of appetite that tends to deprive and suppress your eating at all. Being bulimic is a serious condition that makes you feel guilty about eating so you tend to under-eat or perhaps force yourself to vomit. Bulimic and anorexic individuals need not undertake any weight loss program. Unless the situation results to weight gain, these health issues are to be resolved first or else they could go worse.
Ask yourself if you need any weight loss program after you are tip yourself on the scale and determine your ideal weight. If your idealism in weight aims for 120 pounds in accordance with your height and age, then go for it. If you currently weigh 140 pounds, then you surely need to lose those extra calories before you could be obese and prone to diabetes, heart troubles and high blood pressure.
The healthiest fitness thought you can decide on whether you should be doing weight loss program is that you pay attention to how you really manage your food intake, how you measure and weight, and how your reflections project for real. To make sure you would be dealing with the appropriate approach, you can seek advice from the experts.

Along with the
clarification regarding the doubleclick.net domain we posted a few weeks ago over at
Inside AdSense, we thought we would mention that we have made similar changes to the AdSense for feeds ad tags that are being placed in feeds. By changing our ad serving to the doubleclick.net domain, we are now allowing advertisers to more easily create campaigns that span all media platform types on the Google Content Network, including sites, feeds, and mobile.
By making it easier for advertisers to buy ads in your feeds, and by supporting the exact same features and ad formats that are accepted on websites, the competition for your ad space should increase to help ensure that you're maximizing your earnings potential.

Weight loss is a goal of millions of overweight people in the USA and Europe. But losing weight is not easy and there are no guarantees without a change to current life styles and dietary habits.
For most of us, this means some form of sacrifice and hard work. However, getting to one's desired weight and figure need not always be about sweating it out in the gym and depriving yourself of all your favourite foods.
Plus for all those folks that diets, healthy recipes, weight loss supplements and exercise have failed, maybe it's time to consider an alternative method for shedding those unwanted pounds
The desire to lose weight is often too focused on being skinny or being slim. Fortunately, this attention to weight loss is no longer about vanity, or being like some Celebrity goddess, or looking like a top supermodel.
For a good reason, rather than self-image, women are now talking about the health implications of being obese or overweight, and to live better, healthier, and longer
Whether you are in that extremely serious situation, or whether you just want to lose a few pounds for appearance's sake, there are no shortcuts to losing weight the normal way.
However, for those who consider their weight loss goals and the pros and cons of undergoing some drastic solutions, there are a few alternative procedures to being overweight, and Im not talking about your average diet pill, or holistic therapy. We are talking about surgery!
One is Lipo or Liposuction. This is for those who have the money to undergo this extreme medical measure to lose weight. According to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, liposuction has been the most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in America since 2003.
Another alternative weight loss program is the Gastric Bypass Procedure The objective of Gastric Bypass is to restrict the amount of food that can be eaten, and so the feeling of being full is reached a lot more quickly.
It has been stated that after successful Gastric Bypass surgery, for those who are willing to change their lifestyle and eating habits, they can expect to lose and keep off 50 percent to 90 percent of their excess weight
A less drastic way to lose weight of course is to engage in some form of regular physical exercise and control food consumption the normal way by adding protein-rich foods to your diet, or drink protein shakes as snacks or replacement meals.
There are even special diets and companies where you can get protein shakes customized for your body's nutritional needs. You can drink protein shakes and take protein supplements for long-term dieting. It depends on your particular weight loss needs.
Apart from being considered as an alternative weight loss plan, protein helps your body to burn the calories you eat throughout the day so your body does not continuously store fat in unwanted areas. Protein also helps build and preserve lean muscle mass.

Are you wanting to shed a few of those unwanted pounds before the summer vacation, and considering one of the many celebrity fad diets that are constantly being advertised on TV and Magazines on the market.
Losing weight affects everyone differently, and there are a lot of positive changes once a person experience weight loss.
Apart from avoiding health problems such as diabetes and even heart attacks, losing weight could simply be an overall feeling of well-being and self esteem,
For whatever reason, the thought of losing weight may sound like a good idea. However, the thought of the discipline and sacrifice required to give up favourite foods, or making the effort to exercise, after a busy work day is, for many, just a step to far
It is for this reason why so many people are searching for celebrity fad diets that offer a quick and easy solution to shedding those extra pounds without the pain and sacrifice required
Celebrities have their own pressures, particularly female celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, to look beautiful; they also are expected to have perfect bodies. But I doubt that they achieve this perfection on a cabbage soup diet?
There are plenty of popular celebrity diets that are guaranteed to backfire. This is because these quick fixes instilled in certain diet plans are, in reality, are not efficient at all, because they do not employ the right principle and the right attitude in losing weight.
These quick weight loss diet plans are known as fad diets because that is exactly what they are, just a fad. In time, when fashion is over and popularity wanes, people realize that the celebrity fad diet they depended on is not so reliable after all, and they find they are back to square one, or even worse. Have gained weight!
Scientific research has shown that these celebrity fad diets do not prove that any individual is losing unwanted excess fat. It is mostly water that is lost with following celebrity fad diets or rapid weight loss practices. Water lost is regained very quickly. So there is actually zero net weight lost after all.
So one should not be foolish enough to be so gullible with the advertising of certain celebrity fad diets out there in the market; especially those which claim to aid losing a whopping amount of fat in a short time.
Each and everyone's body metabolism reacts differently to different fast weight loss programs and plans. Plus, exercise programs must be suitable to one's body, as many people are not able to exercise as rigorously as others can.
All in all, discipline and consistency is still the best practice and the key to a rapid weight loss success.
Before entering into any celebrity fad diet, consider first, healthy light dieting combined with some form of workout.
The right amount of exercise applied in a regular way everyday will result in faster weight loss than many popular Hollywood fad diets on offer.
